DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

Q: Can you describe a time when you had to trust God where you felt

completely powerless? How did that change your perspective on Him? Was it

a positive or negative change? Has your perspective changed as you’ve had

more time/distance from the experience?

Q: How do the Scriptures/concepts from this week help you grow as a disciple

who loves God, loves people & serves the world (lives on incarnational mission)

in everyday life?

Q: Based on these Scriptures, how can you move from unbelief to belief, from

just knowing to actually doing in your life?

Q: How can we learn to not try to control our lives with money, or let it control

us, when it is a necessary part of life? How do we surrender to God in this are

when money is something that we do actually need?

Connect with Others (IN)…

Q: How do you balance generosity towards others with wisdom about giving?

Do you ever give without expectation of how the person will use it, or is there

an expectation with gift? Have you wrestled with that, or come to peace with

that tension?

Q: If God is in control and owns everything, why would he choose to use us to

help accomplish His purposes, to expand His kingdom? What do you think He’s

doing in us in the process?
