Q: What have you always understood the main point of the David vs. Goliath
story to be?
Q: How much time & effort do you spend developing your outer appearance
compared to your inner heart & character?
Q: How do the Scriptures/concepts from this week help you grow as a disciple
who loves God, loves people & serves the world (lives on incarnational
mission) in everyday life?
Q: Based on these Scriptures, how can you move from unbelief to belief, from
just knowing to actually doing in your life?

Q: Read 1 Samuel 17:1-51. What Goliaths are you facing in life right now? Are
you like the Israelite army or David? Why?
Q: If David is a “man after God’s own heart”, then what do his actions reveal
about his heart & his relationship with God?
Q: How is God calling you to be a David right now?
Q: Even though we’re called to be “David’s”, how is Jesus the ultimate
“champion” for us & what difference does that make?
