A King Like This - Advent 3: JOY (December 15, 2024)

TODAY:

Advent: A King Like This – JOY

BIG IDEA:

Joy doesn’t come from the absence of pain & struggle – these can

actually become the pathway along which true joy is revealed & realized.

Luke 1:5-25,39-44,57-79, James 1:2-4

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

Q: On scale of 1(none) to 10(very), how joyful would you say you are? Why

would you give yourselfthat score? Would those around you agree?

Q: How do the Scriptures/concepts from this week help you grow as a disciple

who loves God, loves people & serves the world (lives on incarnational

mission) in everyday life?

Q: Based on these Scriptures, how can you move from unbelief to belief, from

just knowing to actually doing in your life?
